In the beginning.....

In 1976 Maurits was born in the Dutch city of Leiden. At a very young age he already knew that he wanted to make a career in the music industry. With his collection of records and cd's he started performing at schoolparties. He spent all his pocket money and lent money to buy all the equipment he needed to make his own music on professional turntables and synthesizers.He transformed his bedroom at his parent's house into a recordingstudio. Nowadays he has a huge collection of different samples and tunes on his computer to work with. With his perseverance and creativity, nothing can stop him now from making his way to the top and to be heard by all you music lovers and party people.



Nowadays…...2006

A positive reaction from scouts and label companies has been the reason why Maurits soon will release his own single. Therefor Maurits and his management are negotiating with several companies.

His tracks are available for downloading from the American internetsites I-tunes, Napster, Rhapsody and Musicnet. Available sites in The Netherlands are Legaldownload ,and soon Sonyconnect

Maurits performed at several local clubs, for instance "De Bob" in Noordwijk, and he also worked for a local radiostation called "Radio Noordwijk". His performances at schoolpartys is famous in the city of Leiden. He also attended a private workshop at the "School for DJ's", where he learned the tricks of the trade from Miss Smile, who is a well known dj herself.
